Det har blivit allt vanligare att lärare och elever beställer klassen band / studentband. Klassen utser elevens ”titel” eller nominering. En nominering bör spegla hur personen uppfattas av klassen som helhet, inte av kompisgänget. Banden är 8 eller 10 cm breda och 2 meter långa.
